Terrier dogs

Terrier dogs are energetic tough and fearless breeds that originally were used to hunt small vermin living underground. The name Terrier refers to the Latin name for earth, Terra, due to the dog’s ability to dig in order to get to their prey. Terriers today are mostly kept as pets since there are more effective ways to get rid of unwanted vermins. Terrier dogs are intelligent, affectionate, and usually friendly dogs that make great companions for every member of the family
